"Election coverage hits different in places where the media isn’t owned by right-wing billionaire moguls"
Don't disagree with much of the analysis Jordan, but boy as someone from the UK this is very wrong. Though certainly the BBC is much better than anything American media has to offer, step outside of it and you'll enter a British media world that is just as corporate owned, just as reactionary, and arguably even more rabid than what's offered in the US.
Oh you’re entirely right, the print media here is a race to the bottom garbage fire and the newer right wing cable news is growing! I should have clarified that I meant the BBC specifically. And I fear for it should Reform take control of Parliament, too. I am jealous of how much less dark money is allowed into the system, though.
That for sure. It's shocking how the amount that gets spent campaigning for a complete general election over here is basically equivalent to the amount spent on just primaries for house seats in the US.

Jordan, nothing is better for a recovering heart than a vigorous game of soccer. You’re Liverpool over Manchester? Is this a Beatles thing?
