We’ve got some great stories in the hopper and ready to send your way, but first, as I promised earlier this week, I’m writing tonight about a stunt we just pulled in Florida and how it fits into the larger fight against fascism.

Yes, I’m talking about the billboard, and yes, I’m 100% serious.

A few friends and I just put up a billboard mocking Ron DeSantis three blocks away from the Florida Governor’s Mansion, and while there’s no way of definitively knowing whether the petulant little bigot has seen it yet, the reactions to our sign make me pretty confident that he’s well aware of its existence.

Here’s what the billboard looks like on site, rising above a critically busy part of downtown Tallahassee:

We put this billboard outside of the Governor’s Mansion in Tallahassee because this is how you treat authoritarian bullies. You ridicule and mock them.

The location is sort of perfect, as it sits at a four-way intersection with major hotels and restaurants from all approaches. But it’s not the visibility that has me confident that DeSantis is well aware of the billboard, it’s the fact that everyone in his orbit lost their minds over it today, while his political enemies embraced it.
