What do they care? It's not their children who'll be deployed.

Not terribly surprising, though.

Jordan, I’m going to push back on calling Iran “evil.” Sure everyone would like to see a more democratic regime. But it’s USreal who does the sheer evil in the Middle East. And Iran supports Hezbollah, which is not a terrorist organization except in the eyes of USreal. Hezbollah and Ansar Allah both support the Palestinians. If Iran didn’t suffer under sanctions and if it weren’t surrounded by US military bases, it might have an opportunity to develop in a more democratic regime direction. But it resists western empire, and for that reason alone USreal wants to destroy it. The real evil is USreal.

The Iranian regime has been pretty brutal to generations of people — I know plenty of people whose families escaped years after existing democracy was toppled there.

That being said, the United States is hardly a force for good and our policies no doubt exacerbate global problems; in many cases, we are the malignancy causing the ongoing issues. And that’s one of many reasons why the US has no business using force to pursue regime change and pretending that we represent the best interests of anybody but corrupt oligarchs.

The United States is living under a Fascist regime. He does whatever he wants. The Supreme Court is complicit. The Mid-East has been at war for centuries. We have no business getting involved. He distinctly said "no boots on the ground", but he lies. It remains to be seen.

Cadet Bone Spurs didn't want to participate in a war, but he doesn't mind sending our children in one.

Just like Bush, this new war was started without the approval of Congress or the War Powers Act, and with bad intel: Bush was advised by Cheney, who modified what the Intel said.

This new fool refused to listen to his Intelligence, and since he doesn't have much himself... the result is a war that We The People were not consulted on.

Worse, while he was listening to Bibi, A FOREIGNER WHO HAD HIS OWN REASONS FOR STARTING THAT WAR, our Democrats on the Intelligence Committees were left in the dark and not even consulted!

Predictable: they will strike our troops in the region.

Ted Cruz was properly dressed down by Tucker Carlson just 3 days ago for pushing for war when Cruz knows NOTHING about Iran, not even that they number 90 Million.

In view of how long and how arduous and expensive this one could last, maybe that would be relevant before Cancun Cruz opens his big mouth!

This Administration is still looking for "Waste, Fraud and Abuse". Well, look no more: We found it!

Before the planes even landed back from their mission, Cadet bone Spurs was already trying to shape the narrative about how glorious our forces are, and what a great successful mission he had sent them on.

We actually do not know a thing about what was destroyed yet, so Trump is suffering from premature self congratulation.

As to Iran not being able to fend for themselves, sure, if we go all in, we can probably prevail, but that assumes that Russia and North Korea do not enter the fray themselves. While weaker than us, Iran, formerly Persia, was a great nation in the Arts and Science, credited with inventing algebra. They still have the largest library in the Middle East.

Additionally: Iran's regional power stems from a combination of factors including its large energy reserves, strategic location, and influence over Shia communities. It also possesses a significant military, particularly its arsenal of ballistic missiles and drones, and is actively involved in regional conflicts through proxies. Furthermore, Iran's role as a major oil producer gives it leverage in international diplomacy and economic negotiations.

In other words, it won't be a cake walk.

And unfortunately, Dictator Bone spurs will never be impeached by feckless Republicans who now have to protect the "war President", like Bush called himself.

The midterms will be such a democratic takeover, he will be impeached and imprisoned like he should of been years ago.

It's nice to dream about this, and I'm with you, at times. Remember the first 2 impeachments. These were solid cases, and Dems DID prove both cases but Republicans then leaned on this idiotic OLC memo stating that the President could not be removed because... well, because, anyway.

I do believe that the midterms will cause somewhat of a shock to the reds, who will probably falsely argue cheating [again]. It will go to SKKKOTUS, and they are likely to rule in his favor, depending how large a defeat they endure...

If they lose the House, or the Senate, or both, then we can talk about impeaching SKKKOTUS members for being corrupt. Then Trump and members of his cabinet, maybe JD Vance too.

Keep your eyes on the prize and keep trucking.

"We shall overcome"!
