Establishment Dems need to know AIPAC is poison. Their entitlement is actually astounding, since they’ve been doing nothing but hand flapping and writing « strongly worded letters » at a « time of our own choosing » for 18 months.
If centrists cant figure out that Democrats are whoever comes out and gets the votes, they just don’t understand democracy.
All last year the Dem pundits and leaders whined and opined about why they were/are polling so low with voters. Now, thanks to the youth, people of color, and the DSA we have momentum- and they’re still whining.
Voters know who represents their interests, dark money or not. If « leadership » messes with the primaries to get centrists in over the will of the people we will lose a big voting block. Like 2024.
Pull together Dems- yall centrists need to move over and share because we are winning if yall will let us.
My concern is not the Islamophobia that AIPAC is allegedly promoting but the anti-Semitism and anti-Israel sentiment from candidates that I would support but for the fact that they seem to want to abolish Israel, all Israelis and ultimately will it be all Jews? Another concern is that the ultra left seems to be just as anti-Semitic as the MAGA right.
And the farthest right of both Christians and Muslims seems to want the final war —the End Times—for their own religion to be the only religion.
I know people will disagree with me, but it really dismays me that so many people want to wipe away the only Jewish state and the only safe haven for Jews.
You have that backwards, believing what republicans & old democrats say to keep themselves in $$$ & power. These young, democratic socialists are trying to help us citizens, & stop the genocide in Gaza! The REPUBLICANS are the ones promoting the Nazis! You should research all the Jewish groups that are protesting against the Israeli regime right now, here in the US & in Israel! This is not covered by our media, because our media has been taken over by the trump regime. Every democrat standing up for Israel right now, including Jeffries, Booker, Schumer, etc., are all complicit in mass murder!
I’m afraid that what Netanyahu and his regime are doing is making Jewish people unsafe everywhere. That’s definitely not good for Jewish people. I just pray for equal rights for all people. We need to stop pitting people against other people. We need to see that it is a wealth inequality issue where the top 1% wealthiest are holding too much power to lord over the rest of us.
No one I know wants to abolish Israel. No one on the left that I have seen is antisemitic or opposes the idea of Israel. What they oppose is Israel acting like murderous fascists and killing or injuring 5%-10% of the civilian population of Gaza, and arming murdering thug "Settlers" to run around the West Bank killing their neighbors and stealing their land. They oppose Israel breaking all international laws and treaties about the treatment of civilians. No one objects to Israel attacking Hamas soldiers attacking Israel. We object to Israel killing innocents who never attacked Israel by the tens of thousands under the excuse that Hamas might be in there somewhere.
It is high time to quit trying to claim opposing a genocidal criminal like Netanyahu or his fascist supporters from the (illegal) "settlements" is somehow antisemitic or in opposition to the existence of Israel. Opposing the Mafia and wanting its leaders jailed does not mean one is opposed to Italians. It means one is opposed to Italian murderers. It is proper to oppose crimes by a Jewish state. It is not proper to oppose it being Jewish. It's long overdue for AIPAC etc. to quit trying to equate opposing Jewish criminals with opposing Jewishness.

I think we need an age limit of under 70 to be eligible to run a campaign. For a Senator that would have him retiring at 76. I'm not even that old, but the slow down, both mentally and physically, after 60 is real.
